A two week trip tracing the journey of Lewis & Clark led to the beginning of this site. We wanted a way to document and share our experiences with family and friends. Sort of by brute force we were able to post our experiences as we went along. Adding photos and making the journal easier to follow is a work in progress. More trips to follow but we have to plan and begin them first! It is a bit optimistic to expect that we will backup and cover trips that we have taken in the last year or so. We have the photos but can we invent some text from our recollections? Don't know!
In the what else can we do with the site, we will try to provide galleries of our favorite photos. Rather than use Flickr or other photo sites and since Squarespace supports photo galleries we will eventually populate the site with photos not directly in support of a travel journal.
Two other ideas are to document our photography efforts and discuss the computer side of our photography.
